My son was having some trouble with another kid on one of those online game sites. This other kid was going around trying to get all the players with the highest scores banned by reporting their IP Addresses.
Anyways, so I called my ISP and asked them if there was a way to change or get a new IP Address.
The answer was "YES". Turns out there are several ways to do it. But, for purposes of this example, I'll tell you the fastest and easiest way to do it. What's best - you can do it whenever you want and it's free!
Change Your IP Address:
STEP 1: Turn the power OFF to your router and modem. Unplugging works too.
STEP 2: Wait like 3 to 5 minutes.
STEP 3: Turn everything back on and reconnect to the Internet.
That's it!
Now, the downside is that this will only work if your ISP (Internet Service Provider) assigns Dynamic IP Addresses (DHCP). If your IPS assigns Static IP Addresses this won't work, sorry. You have to contact them directly to change your IP Address.
If you don't know whether your ISP assigns Dynamic or Static, it's worth a try.
Here's your IP Address:
Complete the 3 Steps above, then Refresh this page and see if your IP Address has changed.
Let me know if it works for you!

WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugins are great, as long as they work!
Now I know why I put this off! After about having a nervous breakdown the other night with a malfunction when I ran the automatic upgrade to WordPress V 2.8 - I decided to let others know how to fix this problem.
Save yourself hours of going out of your mind with this Fatal Error fix.
This Fatal Error fix works when you can't log in to your WordPress admin area.
When I went to log in to my dashboard, I got this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_site_admin() in /home/content/b/z/3/br306752/html/wp-content/plugins/sem-google-analytics/sem-google-analytics-admin.php on line 20
How to Fix:
STEP 1: Access your site via FTP or your Cpanel or however you do it.
STEP 2: Go to the exact file or php page that's throwing the error and simply RENAME it . Mine was the plugins/sem-google-analytics....... .php. I just put temp- in front of the file name.
Once you do this, it will deactivate the plugin that's throwing the error.
STEP 3: Log in your dashboard. It should let you in now.
Worked like a charm for me! Let me know if you have other fixes!
Working GPT (get-paid-to) and other incentive-based rewards sites is a great way to generate a steady online income, no doubt. However, there are many other completely free and legitimate ways to generate multiple online streams.
For example, ever heard of get-paid-to write articles?
About a year or so ago while I was researching “get paid to write articles” sites, I ran across eHow.com. This site features articles on basically “How to” do everything and anything you can possible think of. So, to experiment with their revenue sharing program, I signed up and started writing and posting a few articles to their site. Now, you don't earn a flat-fee or anything for writing an article.
Your articles earn you money by the eHow's revenue-sharing program. Basically it works just like Google Adsense Ads. If you're not familiar with that, then here's how it works: People view and read your articles. People click on the advertisements and links that eHow displays on the pages of your articles. When that happens, eHow shares an undisclosed percentage of that revenue with you.
eHow has a super-easy user interface to write and publish articles. What’s better is that I earned money a lot quicker from my articles than I have from other “get paid to write articles” sites.
The minimum payout to receive a payment each month is only $10.00. And, they send you payments directly to your PayPal account. Plus, when I first started and for 2 months in-a-row, the good folks at eHow.com invited me to participate in their Bonus Programs. It was fast and easy and they paid me an extra $150.00 on top on my regular revenue-sharing earnings.
Their revenue sharing program is way better then getting paid a flat-fee or rate for writing an article! Why? Because your articles continue to make you money over and over, month after month, year after year!
It's been months and months since I've written and posted a new article - but all my articles continue to make me money. It's like doing the work once and getting paid for it over and over again. Skeptical? Have a look at some of my earnings reports since I started writing articles on eHow:
And NO, you don't have to be some English and grammar expert either! You just have to write half-way literate so the vast majority of common folks like you and me can understand!
And EVERYONE knows how to do stuff! Yep, even you! You can write about super simple stuff or really complicated things. Anyone can do this - I'll prove it!
One of my most profitable articles that I've written was simply telling people how to find online coupons. Seriously! The article took me like 20 minutes to write and then like another 10 minutes to create a graphic and upload it.
So, for about 30 minutes of work... This one article has made me $1,164.26 so far! And, I wrote it well over a year ago! Here's how much this one little article has earned me each month since I wrote it (March 2009 earnings are just for this month so far) :
Why has this little article made me so much? Because it's about something relevant to today and it's about something people are searching for.
So, think about stuff you already know about and know how to do. Then write one of these easy How To articles and tell people how to do it. The more popular your articles are - the more money you will make!
I told myself I wasn't going to watch OJ's robbery trial. But, being the CourtTV fan I am, along with the fact that I was overwhelmingly drawn to this drama, I've started watching from the beginning of the opening statements.
The prosecution had me at hello. But then, after hearing the defense's opening, I'm now hooked on this trial! Seriously, the defense's theory sounded almost legit and plausible, didn't it? I seriously thought it was all about memorabilia and money - didn't you?
Were those items just OJ's personal items - mementos? What if? And, what about the phone call OJ makes directly after this alleged robbery? He talks about not knowing about any gun. What's up with that?
I've got my DVR set to record Lisa Bloom, Jami Floyd and Banfield & Ford daily so I can watch them later (without all the commercials). What's really great is that you can watch Trials on Demand - so if you miss anything, you can catch-up.
So, tell me what you think so far? Are you with the prosecution or defense?
