I’ve been using Google Adsense for a while now. It’s become such a habit that until recently I haven’t given a second thought to removing the ads.

I’ve been noticing a lot of chatter in these past months between webmasters/web site owners that they’ve been removing their adsense blocks completely from their sites and using alternatives like AdBrite and Bidvertiser. I haven’t checked these out yet - but I plan to.

For me - I guess I’ve just gotten use the monthly direct deposit payment of an extra couple hundred bucks.

Recently I ran reports because I’ve even forgotten how long I’ve been using Adsense. Turns out its been 2 full years! And, by the looks of my income reports - I’m making less money now (when I should be making a whole lot more) than I did in 2006.
