After 12 years of being married this time and being separated for 8 months now – it’s time for the “Big D”.
When we split 8 months ago and my son and I left Florida and moved up to Wisconsin (where my parents live), everything “seemed to be” worked out and agreed upon.
WRONG! My ex broke every agreement and promise he made the minute my son and I left Florida. Yeah, I know – it’s not like I should’ve expected anything different.

1Sounds like a real jerk, make sure you take care of all legal issues. Close joint accounts, make sure he does not have access to your credit, and that all bills are being paid. A divorce and totally trash you credit, and make it hard to rebuild.
